Why Join Projectory School?

Projectory School serves children ages 5 - 9 in a small, mixed-age elementary learning community. Our school year begins August 31 and follows Richmond City Public Schools for holidays and days off.
Families may choose a one-, two-, or three-day enrollment plan. Every child follows the same consistent schedule from week to week, allowing them to become deeply connected to their teachers, classmates, routines, and learning community.

Projectory generally follows the Richmond Public Schools calendar for major holidays and school breaks. Some program dates may differ, and Projectory maintains its own policies for professional-development days and weather-related closures. A complete calendar will be shared with families before the semester begins.
Tuition
Families enroll for one semester at a time and choose a consistent one-, two-, or three-day weekly schedule. We're offering a founding family discount for our first year. Email us to inquire!
One Day Each Week
$1,125 per semester or five monthly payments of $225
Two Days Each Week
$2,250 per semester or five monthly payments of $450
Three Days Each Week
$3,375 per semester or five monthly payments of $675
Tuition includes professional instruction, classroom materials, project supplies, learning documentation, and an annual proof-of-progress evaluation letter when requested.
Enrollment is a commitment for the full semester. Families may continue for the following semester, subject to space and completion of the reenrollment process.
Why Flexible Enrollment?
We believe families shouldn’t have to choose between a meaningful education and a weekly rhythm that works for their lives.
At Projectory, flexibility does not mean an unpredictable or drop-in schedule. Children attend on the same days each week and return to familiar teachers, classmates, routines, and ongoing projects.
Teachers know each child’s schedule and plan intentionally for continuity. Small-group instruction, individual learning goals, and flexible project entry points help every child remain connected and make meaningful progress.
The result is a dependable school experience with room for family life, rest, enrichment, and the many valuable ways children learn beyond the classroom.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications for curious children ages 5 - 9 who are ready to participate in a collaborative classroom environment. We consider the whole child, including their interests, learning needs, ability to communicate, participation in group routines, and growing independence.
